This car has been clamped outside my house for going on 3 weeks now. Surely clamping is supposed to discourage people from parking where they’re not allowed? In which case, leaving a clamped car there, taking up a parking space but preventing the owner from moving it is either (a) missing the point somewhat, or (b) a devious way of making lots of money from parking meter fees.
